What is your Wedding/Engagement photography style?
Natural and candid. I prefer real smiles and a few happy tears to go along with a good quality. If you are reading this that means that you have already seen my work and know that I keep colours real, editing minimal and style consistent.
I don't photograph well and I am super awkward - can you help me?
Yes! By the time I will be actually taking pictures of you we would have had quite a few chit-chats and shared a good laugh. During the shoot I will lead a bit, but will give you freedom to be yourselves. This is important!
I'm working on a budget, will you give me a discount?
My packages are put together carefully, taking every detail into consideration. However, every wedding is different and if my packages do not look like they will work for you, please contact me and I will customise one for you.
How long until we see our pictures?
I prefer to work with my clients together, so within 7 working days of your big day you will receive what I call “proof copies” of your images – they will be unedited, but you will be able to choose the ones you want to keep in your final gallery. Once I have everything approved by you, it will take 2-3 weeks to get all the images ready for final delivery.
You’re the photographer for us! How do we reserve our Wedding date?
If you like my style, happy with the packages and their inclusions, I would highly recommend to meet for a coffee and discuss all the details in person. We have to be on the same page or what they say “have a vibe”! Trust me, your wedding photographer is the person who will spend with you a significant amount of time on your big day and it is very important that you are comfortable with each other. Once the date is penciled, to secure the booking I ask for 20% deposit and also that you read over and sign the contract.
Do you charge for travel?
I am based in Tairua (Coromandel) and visit Auckland every 2nd weekend which means I cover whole Coromandel Peninsula and Auckland areas at no extra charge. If your wedding is going to be held a bit further, please contact me and we will make it work. I love travelling and travel in the humblest way!
Do you do Engagement sessions?
Absolutely! All my wedding packages include a complimentary one hour engagement photo session. If you haven’t planned your big day yet, but really keen on having an engagement photo shoot, it all comes down to $250 (one hour session, 30 edited images) and will be deducted from your total of a wedding package should you decide to have me as your wedding photographer.
Can I pencil in a date?
I would love to offer penciling in dates, but ultimately it can cause frustration. By keeping reservations on a first-to-book basis, I eliminate hurt feelings, missed communication and disappointment. Only signed contract and paid deposit can lock your date in my calendar.
